Snow in Trowbridge - 31 January 2019 Heavy snow fell across North and West Wiltshire causing widespread disruption to road, rail and bus services. People have been urged to stay at home in the warm and to check on vulnerable or elderly neighbours and relatives to see if they are okay. Schools have closed due to the adverse weather and roads are being severely disrupted, particularly in rural areas.
